PROGRAM
Grounded in the Real World
Business-Savvy Professors
Our professors have one foot firmly planted in academia with another foot established in corporate America. They are published in scholarly journals and present at national and international conferences. Many are sought out by private industry and government as consultants. Many hold memberships in professional organizations. Plus, they have impressive backgrounds as senior executives, CPAs, managers, marketers and more.
Project-Based Learning
The majority of the MBA courses involve teamwork. Students collaborate, discuss and rely on each others’ strengths to come up with creative solutions to tough business problems. A combination of real-world case studies and hands-on learning teaches you to identify and implement strategic and tactical solutions.
Diverse Professional Peers
By day, our MBA students work for a wide range of companies. This results in an exciting and stimulating learning environment when they come to class at night. Discussions with other working professionals can help expand your viewpoint and give you a fresh perspective on today’s business challenges.
Corporate Connections
Name a corporation in Western Pennsylvania and chances are RMU has some sort of connection to that company. Maybe one of our alumni works there, or someone from that corporation belongs to a professional organization with our faculty. Corporate leaders also serve on various RMU advisory boards and are invited to present to the MBA students. All of these efforts strengthen our ties with the community and enhance the reputation of an advanced degree from RMU.
