MBAD 6013 Managerial Accounting
Offered: Classroom & Online
Course Description:
This course is designed to provide students with the ability to communicate effectively with those who will be providing them with decision relevant information. The course provides a framework for identifying and analyzing decision alternatives and the information needed for such analysis, and for evaluating managers’ performance. The course also addresses ethical dilemmas that could face managers related to the short- term and long-term consequences of their choices and the need to consider these in decision making.
Overall Course Objective
The overall course objective is to familiarize students with the way in which data on an organization's business activities are collected and reported to decision makers.
